Description
8" (20 cm.) larger. Each is of tightly-woven muslin with stitch-shaped nose and embroidered
features,stitched-on thread hair,all-cloth hand-sewn body. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: mid-19th century,the dolls are shown and discussed in Ackerman's Dolls in
Miniature,page 44. Value Points: each doll wears her original simple cotton dress and apron,and
is holding a similarly made miniature cloth baby.
