7 1/2" (19 cm.) Each has bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair,painted facial features,bisque lower limbs,painted shoes,including lady with long ringlet curls and wearing antique lace gown (hairline front shoulder plate),and boy with short cropped painted hair,wearing original Tyrolean costume with green velvet vest,black breeches,and red leather suspenders. Condition: excellent except as noted. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: rare early models with unusually expressive features for such tiny dolls,original costume on boy is especially fine. Included is a set of wooden doll furniture,possibly Bliss,with colorful lithographed paper cover to simulate carving and upholstery.
