3" (8 cm.) Each has porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair,painted facial
features,shapely wooden torso and wooden upper arms and legs,porcelain lower arms and
legs,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany,circa 1850. Value Points: the rare wooden-bodied dolls are notable for
variation in hair styles,well-preserved condition,one with original costume,and each with early
woven cradle.
