18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair,circular seamed
crown,stitched ears,painted brown eyes,richly painted lashes and short brows,closed
mouth,blushed cheeks,painted short brown curly hair with defined tendrils especially at nape of
neck,stitch-jointing at shoulders and thighs,bare feet,wearing white cotton dress and
undergarments. Condition: generally excellent,some wear on toes and left thumb. Comments:
"Alabama Baby" by Ella Smith,circa 1912. Value Points: beautiful painting of hair and gentle
expression.
