18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly-pressed and oil-painted facial features and brown shaded
hair in soft curls,painted turquoise eyes with white eyedots,brown eyeliner and painted
lashes,fringed brows,rounded nose,closed mouth with full lips,muslin stitch-jointed body with
painted yellow ankle boots,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,rubs on nose
tip,crown seam,toes of boots. Marks: (faint Ella Smith mark on torso front). Comments: Alabama
Baby made in the studio workshops of Alabama folk artist,Ella Smith,circa 1915. Value Points:
