Description
15" (38 cm.) Two-piece paper mache figure depicting Dutch girl with sculpted Dutch cap over
curly locks, painted facial features, wide beaming smile, painted teeth, attached to matching pear-
shaped body with weighted rounded base designed to prevent the "rolly-dolly" from tipping
when pushed; the dolly has sculpted details of hands and painted costume. Condition: original
finish, albeit scuffed and dusty, wear to lower throat. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1910,from their
extensive line of Rolly-Dollies,this being identical to doll model 305 and of a size that would
form into the 16" doll that that model was. It is most likely that the model 305 head mold was
used for this toy. Value Points: rare toy especially in this grand size, with original finish.
