head to tilt forward and side-to-side as well as swivel,cobalt blue enamel eyes,painted
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into
head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with shapely torso,gusset-jointing at
elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers,fine antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: L. Depose 4 D. Comments: Louis Doleac,Paris,circa 1867,the doll has the
head/shoulderplate attachment deposed by Dehors allowing realistic head posing. Value Points:
rare signature-signed poupee with very beautiful face and bisque,sturdy original body,and
superb original wig with intertwined silk ribbons.
