Description
20" (51 cm.) x 14" box. The firm-sided box with paper cover and original exterior label "Service Metal", hinges open to a beautifully-fitted interior, lined with quilted red sateen and fitted with a bounty of finely-crafted pewter dinnerware including four various lidded tureens, large bowl, platters, numerous plates, napkins rings and napkins, and goblets, along with two porcelain footed bowls and gold cutlery. Excellent condition. French, Cuperly, Blondel and Giroux, circa 1890.
