19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with oval face and elongated throat,black sculpted hair waved
loosely away from face and captured in a sculpted gilt snood that is edged with a Dresden white
ruffle,sculpted bodice with collar and pink bow,old muslin stitch-jointed body,leather arms,lovely
antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,some typical edge flakes on Dresden ruffle.
Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: rare black hair collar on this bisque
model,sculpted snood and ruffle,sculpted bodice,and with delicate feathered painting around the
forehead.
