8" (20 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie with one-piece head,torso and legs in standing pose,loop-jointed
bisque arms with starfish-shaped fingers,modeled topknot,side curls,forelock curl and blue
wings,painted side-glancing eyes with white eyedots and black upper lashes,dash brows,thin line
smile. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (feet) (original paper labels on chest and
back). Comments: Kewpie,designed by Rose O'Neill,circa 1912. Value Points: the rare-to-find
larger size is presented in his original box with illustrations and poem on the lid.
