22" (56 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with elongated oval face and defined throat,high forehead,blonde hair sculpted away from her face with very full defined waves of curls and having wispy feathering at the forehead,then with a tight chignon captured in a snood at the back that is overlaid by a row of short finger curls and a decorative comb,and with ringlet curls tumbling onto her nape,deeply-set painted blue dark eyes with red and black upper eyeliner,short stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with gentle smile,half-sculpted pierced ears,muslin stitch-jointed body,bisque forearms,nicely gowned. Condition: generally excellent,light over-paint on shoulder-plate. Comments: Germany,circa 1865. Value Points: very rare model with exquisite detail of hair sculpting.
