11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with oval face,sculpted blonde hair waved around the face
with two narrow rows of braids in front of ears,the back hair captured in a sculpted black snood
edged with blue ruffled coronet and with two rows of sculpted blue ruffles at the nape,painted
blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,closed mouth,original muslin
body,bisque lower limbs,black ankle boots,antique (frail) silk costume. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1870; the model was produced in both bisque and
porcelain (see #285). Value Points: rare coiffure with wonderful details such as
coronet,snood,narrow braids.
