Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,almond-shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,accent line between the lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed poupee body with square-cut collarette,lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1867,an early model of the firm's letter mark poupee. Value Points: very beautiful poupee whose mauve blushing is further enhanced by very pronounced dark eyeliner,original sturdy Bru body.
