Bisque shoulder head of plump-faced lady with pale bisque,blonde sculpted hair waved away from her face and captured under a black sculpted snood that is trimmed with pink,green and white ribbons,feathers and tassels,painted blue downcast eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,one-stroke brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent,muslin stitch-jointed body,bisque limbs. Condition: generally excellent,body is new. Comments: Germany,circa 1875,the model was made with several color variations of snood (see lot 97).Value Points; the model is rarely found,this example with unusual tri-color hair decorations.
