Description
22" (56 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, brown sculpted hair arranged with five horizontal rolled curls at each side of face and four large vertical curls at back of head, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, lightly-painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare brown hair color and most unusual coiffure, glass eyes, antique costume comprises lovely gown, undergarments and gold-plated framed cameo brooch and dangle earrings.
