9 1/2" (24 cm.) The firmly-stuffed red cotton Kewpie has mask face with printed features,side-
glancing googly eyes,painted upper lashes,dot brows,wide one-line smile,tiny button-shaped
nose,blushed cheeks,stitched-on red cotton wings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
"Kewpie" Trademark Reg. US Pat Off. Pat. No. 1,785,500 Richard G. Krueger Inc. (along with
classic Rose O'Neill signature print). Comments: circa 1930. Value Points: rarely-found model of
the Kuddles Kewpie in wonderfully-preserved condition.
