23" (58 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with slender face and elongated throat,black
sculpted hair waved in very full curls away from her face into full horizontal curls at each side
and a very long looped curl at the nape with finger curls above; there is feathering at sides of her
face,sculpted pierced ears,sculpted black coronet at her crown,painted down-glancing blue
eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,red eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth
with very full lips,muslin stitch-jointed body,porcelain lower limbs with nicely formed
hands,painted black ankle boots with red lacing,antique white cotton gown. Condition: generally
excellent,two finger tips flaked,left leg reglued. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points:
rare model with very elaborate coiffure,coronet,sculpted pierced ears.
