11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with round facial shape,blue glass spiral threaded eyes with dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,mauve blushed eye shadow,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with accent line between the lips,pierced ears,original blonde lambswool
wig on cork pate,French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight
wrists. Condition: bisque excellent,body is correct size and of the era (probably Jumeau) albeit
not original and retouched. Marks: Sch (in shield) 2/0 (raised numbers). Comments: Schmitt et
Fils,circa 1880. Value Points: first period Schmitt bebe with wonderful eyes,most appealing
expression and painting,wonderful petite size.
