inset eyes,dark eyeliner,black painted lashes,arched brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,closed mouth with coral-shaded lips,pierced ears,original black fleecy wig over cork
pate,French brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition:
generally excellent,tiny nose tip rub. Marks: Depose Jumeau 7 (large incised letters and
number,on head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau,the incised depose
mark appeared for one year only,1884. Value Points: the bebe is rare both for its model and for
its brown complexion,is enhanced further by very beautiful gentle expression,original
wig,body,body finish,outstanding early costume that may be original including matching bonnet.
