17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,brown side-glancing
eyes,grey and brown eye shadow,fringed brows,painted lashes,accented nostrils,closed
mouth,brunette mohair side-parted hair,jointed felt arms and legs. Condition; generally
excellent. Marks: Lenci made in Italian 300/14 (paper label). Comments: Lenci,early 1930s. the
wistful-faced lad wears his original costume comprising black felt jacket with insignia on
sleeve,blue felt tie,black felt cap with tassel and metal emblem,sea-green felt shorts,knit
stockings and black shoes.Value Points: fine state of preservation of the rare doll,with original
costume and tag.
