20" (51 cm.) Bisque swivel head with flattened solid dome,bisque shoulder plate,blue glass
inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,rose-blushed eye
shadow,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced
ears,brunette hand-tied human hair wig,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at
elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent,the
bisque head is attached to French bisque shoulderplate and kid body by Jumeau; the
attachment appears to have been made during the late-19th century. Marks: 106 11 (head)
Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Sonneberg,the doll was designed for the French
market,circa 1875. Value Points: beautiful antique costume of burgundy silk satin with antique
lace,undergarments,leather shoes,burgundy and lace bonnet.
