20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue iris edges, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid gusset jointed body with bisque forearms, antique dress, undergarments, leather shoes, silk bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S.H.920. Comments: Simon & Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model with exquisitely painted lashes, eyeshadow and eyeliner, very fine quality of bisque.
