22" (56 cm.) Felt socket head with round plump face,pressed and painted facial features,brown
painted eyes with large irises,grey and brown eye shadow,brown painted lashes,outlined
eyes,accented nostrils of rounded nose,closed mouth with coral shaded lower lip with two accent
dots,blonde mohair wig,chubby felt baby body with modeled bent limbs. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Lenci,circa 1933,the model appeared in the year's catalog with the
designation O.L. 170/1 with a variation of costume. The actual doll is shown in Lenci,The History
and Dolls by Nancy Lazenby,page 144. Value Points: very rare baby model has especially fine
painting around her eyes,original pink organdy dress and slip,undie,with felt cap,and with
original baby rattle
