19" (48 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted complexion and facial features,two chin
seams,painted blue eyes,black upper eyeliner,one stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth
with very full lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig,firmly-stuffed muslin body with stitch-jointing.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Louis Kampes,who presented his dolls from a studio
in Atlantic City,marketed as "Kamkins",circa 1930; the dolls were presented with stylish children
costumes which were also offered separately. Value Points: rare model to find,especially with fine
original finish,wearing fleecy coat and cap with brown lambswool trim,cotton
dress,undergarments,leather shoes,socks.
