Description
9" (23 cm.) A porcelain half doll as Pierrette with clasped hands is perched atop a cardboard
powder box which is covered by her skirt; the box is attached to head of a red-headed circus
performer who appears to be balancing Pierrette on his shoulders as her legs (which are part of
his sculpture) straddle each side of his head; the performer has decorated costume and red hair.
The powder box has original label "A Nouvelle Poudre Simon,Paris/Lyon". Excellent condition.
Circa 1920,rare and intricately constructed fancy.
