17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass enamel
inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
accented lips,ears pierced into head,original (sparse) mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body
with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition:
generally excellent,some repair to kid arms. Marks: (original torso stamp of Henry Cremer of
London). Comments: French,circa 1865,the doll was sold from the luxury London doll and toy
shop of Henry Cremer. Value Points: very beautiful poupee,boutique label on body,beautiful
antique costume including high laced ankle boots.
