17" (43 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features,brown painted hair with
curls onto forehead,green/brown painted eyes with spiral-threading,black and brown upper
eyeliner,closed mouth with shaded lips,stitch-jointed arms,disc-jointed legs,separately-stitched
thumbs,good costume in the traditional style. Condition: generally excellent,possible touch-up
of hair. Marks: Kathe Kruse 5878 (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse,circa 1915. Value Points: fine
original painting including desirable threading of eyes,on the well-preserved early model.
