Description
13" (33 cm.) A paper mache white kitten head with green glass eyes is attached to a wooden
handle with round cardboard container torso which is decorated with rose silk jester style
costume and which hides a music box that plays when the kitten is twirled about,and which also
separates to form into a candy container. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Germany,possibly Zinner and Sohne,for the French luxury market,circa 1890. Value Points: very
rare variation of the delightful party marotte in well-preserved condition,with well-functioning
musical tune.
