18" (46 cm.) Carved wooden head and torso with defined bosom and waist,sculpted detail of ears,inset black enamel eyes,dot-painted lashes and brows,pointy nose,closed mouth with wide center accent line,blushed cheeks,brown hand-tied human hair,cloth upper arms,wooden lower arms with spatula-shaped hands,simply-carved wooden legs with hip and knee jointing,wearing lace-front gown of antique embroidered silks with lace trim,lace cap,antique undergarments including rare pannier hoop that is likely original. Condition: generally excellent,finish appears original throughout and is well preserved. Comments: English,circa 1790. Value Points: rare to find in such exceptional condition,fine large size indicates luxury production as do the two black beauty spots deliberately placed nearby the cheek blush
