10" (25 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of young lady with oval-shaped face having defined
chin,elongated throat with defined hollow,modeled chemise draped onto the shoulders of her
arms which extend below the waist and form into hands with intertwined fingers,sculpted light
brown hair with three ringlet curls over each ear and a casual topknot,intaglio dark blue eyes
with white eyedots,rounded nose,closed mouth with row of teeth. Incised numbers ?104??" on
base (hidden by sculpted blouse waist). Excellent condition,Germany,attributed to Ernst
Bohne,circa 1900. An outstanding and very rare half doll with artistic quality of sculpting and
painting,grand size,and unusual design of arms.
