18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump cheeks, brown painted eyes with decorative glaze, white eye dots, red and black upper eyeliner, delicately-fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with slight smile, outlined lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, right baby finger broken. Marks: 187. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: excellent definition of modeling around the eyes, charming pert half-smile, choice bisque and painting.
