Description
3" (8 cm.) x 4",7" 9 framed. Portraying two fashionably dressed young girls in a garden setting
with linen-covered tea table which is laden with treats,and at which is seated a little doll; the doll
and one of the girls wears a white napkin tied at her throat; while the second girl is wearing a
superb red dress with matching feathered bonnet. The miniature painting is signed L.L. and is
presented in ornate frame with gold leaf finish. From the series of miniature paintings by 19th
century French artist,Luigi Loir,circa 1885,depicting children in elegant settings.
