Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head lady with oval face,elongated throat,sculpted brown hair
with a border of tiny curls at her forehead line,waved back to form into a pageboy curl
surmounted by arranged clusters of curls,decorated with two tiny pink bows above the pierced
ears,a double pink bow at her crown,and a painted blue diadem visible from above with gilt
edging,and with a low neckline border of Dresden ruffles in shaded rose edged by gold
beads,with painted blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth,newer muslin body and bisque limbs,antique gown and undergarments.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: TCF/R (in script inside shoulder plate). Comments:
Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair,elaborate
coiffure,decorative bows and diadem in hair,and very fancy bodice.
