Description
16" (41 cm.) overall lamp. 8" doll. Waist up porcelain half-doll depicting an 18th century lady with sculpted grey flowing hair under a wide-brimmed mauve bonnet, her head turned to the side and her clasped arms held away from torso, attached to cloth stuffed seated torso and with porcelain lower legs. Wearing blue taffeta and lace gown she is posed seated on silk-covered boudoir chair which is attached to a silk-covered oval platform with attached lamp and fancy silk and lace shade. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1910, with wonderful original boudoir presentation.
