nostrils,open mouth,four porcelain teeth,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig. French composition
body with lady-shaped torso,jointing at shoulders,elbows and hips. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 1159 Simon & Halbig dep Germany 5 1/2. Comments: for the French
market,with original French body and body,circa 1900. Value Points: the doll wears original well-
detailed costume of French Alsatian region including embroidered blouse with wide lace
collar,red sateen skirt,corselet of gold passamenterie over black velvet vest,several
petticoats,and black velvet cap with black silk "noeud" forming the coiffe and centered by
patriotic red,white and blue medallion.
