9" (23 cm.) Brown mohair standing teddy with shaved cream mohair muzzle, open mouth with felt lining, black embroidered nose, amber glass eyes, brushed felt/muslin body in standing pose, brown mohair paw covers, felt foot soles. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Steiff (metal button, cursive script). Made in US Zone Germany (cloth tag). Comments: Steiff, from a series of dressed Teddy Babies, 1950s. Value Points: well-preserved and rare teddy doll in original condition. The bear is shown in Cieslik's Button in Ear book, page 232.
