23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head,brown glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,lushly-
painted lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and feathered brows,shaded
nostrils,closed mouth with shaded and accented lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over
cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with hinged jointing at hips
covered by kid allowing freely-swinging legs,beautiful antique aqua silk and lace dress,ruffed
bonnet,undergarments,stockings,black leather French shoes. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: L'Intrepide R.D,Bte SGDG (and artist checkmarks). Comments: the walking system was
deposed by Roullet & Decamps in 1892,and made by Jumeau; this is the second version of the
model. Value Points: rare model with full L'Intrepide markings on the head,in fine state of
preservation,lovely face.
