18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted upper-glancing blue eyes with decorative glaze, red and black upper eyeliner with short fringed lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, modeled closed mouth, sculpted teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique schoolgirl costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 186. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine bisque, complexion and painting of features enhanced by impressed cheek dimples.
