Description
13" (33 cm.) l. x 9"h. x 7". The bombe-shaped front chest has unusual sides that flare slightly
wider at the back,with ebony-finished frame and rosewood veneer drawer fronts and side,three
drawers,tiny acorn shaped feet,white marble top,gilt beaded around the bottom frame,and very
fancy bronze drawer pulls and key mounts. Excellent condition. French,mid-19th century,the
quality of construction,woods and bronzes indicate maitrise creation. Included is a white bisque
statue in the Grecian style,designed to simulate marble.
