18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with heart-shaped slender face,elongated
throat,brown sculpted hair waved away from her face with feathered details around her
forehead,and with a bounty of arranged ringlet curls at the back of her head,sculpted pierced
ears,old muslin stitch-jointed body with bisque lower limbs,painted black ankle
boots,fashionable antique silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 61 (inside back
shoulder plate). Comments: Germany,circa 1870,the rare model was made with several variations
of construction including one that is identical except having removable curls at the head back.
Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair,exquisite rare coiffure,pierced ears.
