20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with oval face and elongated throat,sculpted light
brown hair in very full waves away from her face,with a tumbling long curl at each side of
throat,and the remaining hair captured in modeled and painted black snood that is decorated
with white bows and tassels with gilt accents,painted blue eyes,red and black eyeliner,single
stroke brows,closed mouth with slightlyupturned lip corners,muslin stitch-jointed body,sewn-on
stockings and red leather shoes,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Germany,circa 1870,note the decorative variations with #361. Value Points: lovely serene face
with wonderfully-sculpted hair and fancy hair coiffure and ornaments.
