11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with rosy complexion and original glazed
finish,lightly-painted blonde hair,painted narrow blue eyes with brown upper eyeliner,single
stroke brows,closed mouth with shaded lips,composition baby body,antique costume. Condition:
generally excellent,some body repaint. Marks: B 1. Comments: circa 1912,from the art-character
reform movement. Value Points: rare model with very expressive modeling especially around the
mouth and cheeks,pronounced "stuck-out" ears,and unique glazed finish that appears to have
been used by this firm only.
