Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading,painted curly lashes,roseblushed eye shadow,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,slightly-parted outlined lips,two square-cut upper teeth,one square-cut lower tooth,brunette mohair wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,modeled bent arms with curled fingers,muscular legs with tiny ankles,painted white stockings with blue rims and black ankle boots with tiny heels,Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1880,the model is referred to as "French Wrestler" in reference to its muscular body. Value Points: rare and sought-after model with superb detail of sculpting of elbows,knees,wonderful facial painting.
