20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with rounded face and elongated throat,blonde
sculpted hair drawn away from her forehead with deeply-sculpted waves and crowned by a
braided coronet,with looped curls at the back held by a black hair band,fully-sculpted pierced
ears,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,pierced ears,sculpted white
fichu,antique muslin stitch-jointed body with leather arms,antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: rare coiffure with beautiful detail of
curls,sculpted fichu with elegantly draped folds.
