15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque,blue glass sleep eyes,painted curly
lashes,incised eyeliner,painted brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth modeled
as though open with laughing expression,two beaded lower teeth,outlined lips,blonde mohair
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 5636 Heubach (sunburst) German 6 1/2. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912. Value
Points: rare to find glass-eyed version of the laughing character has wonderfully-sculpted details
of cheek and upper lip dimples,original body and body finish.
