lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth,pierced ears,blonde
mohair wig,Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body,wearing antique lace
dress,undergarments,blue silk and velvet hooded coat,muff,collar,shoes and stockings.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: W.D. 3. Comments: William Dehler,Sonneberg,circa
1885,the doll closely resembles the early Jumeau bebe whose market the Dehler firm aimed to
capture. Value Points: dolls by this maker are very rare to find,this example with especially
charming "French-like" modeling and presentation.
