9" (23 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head of lady with heart-shaped face and elongated
throat,midnight-brown painted hair that is sculpted with a wide pouf of curls at each side of
head,a painted garland on the forehead,and a high topknot known as "beehive",painted facial
features,little blue downcast eyes,tiny smiling mouth,slender kid body with wooden lower
limbs,painted orange shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1840.
Value Points: the well-preserved diminutive doll wears her original dress and undergarments,rare
coiffure and hair color.
