Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece carved polychromed wooden dog posed seated on back haunches, with deeply-carved hide revealing rib cage, fluffy mane, painted in shades of brown/cream, with long curly tail, long floppy ears, arranged upon a wooden platform. Excellent condition. Genoese, early 1700s, attributed to the workshops of Gerolamo Pittaluga.
