17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with press=Wmolded facial features,center seam,pronounced
nose,black shoe-button eyes,painted dabs of red complexion,black mohair wig with long
braids,jointing at shoulders and hips,wearing original felt and cotton costume. Condition:
fair/good,some moth holes in costume and feet,headdress missing. Comments: Steiff,circa
1910,rare character doll from the early series; Steiff presented various American tribes in his
inventory,according to Ciesliks Button in Ear Steiff Encyclopedia,page 135. Value Points: rare to
find model with distinctively-modeled features,original facial paint well-preserved.
