19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with oval face and elongated throat,short brown sculpted hair in very tight ringlet curls surmounted by a Dresden coronet wreath of gilt accented leaves and with a centered Dresden rose at her crown,painted cobalt blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth,pierced ears,new muslin body and bisque limbs,lovely silk brocade dress in rose and pale green to match her hair. Condition: chips to leaves and roses of coronet,otherwise excellent. Marks: 6 (inside front shoulder plate). Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: exquisite detail of sculpted curls,pierced ears,rare model,rare brown hair color.
